RX MEDS ONLY 

The box is accessible via the front lobby of the Sheriff’s Office during business hours M-F. Front desk staff will assist with depositing the rx’s in the box, as the box is locked and needs to be opened.

We ask that RX MEDS ONLY be placed in the box (no over the counter items). The rx’s will need to be removed from any plastic bottles/packages and placed into a paper bag (provided).

Due to emissions regulations, we need to eliminate as much plastic as possible. The public will need to dispose of the bottles on their own.

We DO NOT ACCEPT

Needles/sharps of any kind, pressurized canisters (such as albuterol inhalers) or liquids in large quantities (more than would be in a bottle of cough medicine for example).

We ask that pharmacies, clinics and other businesses find an alternate method of disposal for their medications, this box is intended for the use of the public.

We cannot process the quantities of rx’s that a business or clinic would need to dispose of.
